This is so informative. I actually have three rain barrels that I use to water my outdoor plants. Needless to say they do quite well and my water bill is not too high. My indoor plants will no get the royal treatment too! Thank you!

Isn’t it good to know why it works? I want to get rain barrels, too, because we have a great roof for it and my outside pots would prefer “The real thing” also. What kind do you have and do you have a leaf/mosquito screen?
